Last day to register in Colorado

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

Today is the last day Coloradans can register to vote. For information on registering you can go to Vote for Change.

In a not-so-shocking development... the Colorado Secretary of State website is loading extremely slow (if at all).

Secretary of State Mike Coffman, who is running to fill Tom Tancredo's seat in the 6th district, apparently is more interested in his House race than doing his job. Coffman has worked out a way to throw out thousands of voter registrations in an attempt to reach the heights of former fellow swing state SoS Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell.

So even if you think you're registered you should check to make sure (You can check here too). One great tool available is Project Vote Smart's Project Vote which gives a list of denied registrations. If you know somebody on this list call them today and have them register.

And if you're wondering how to vote on the ridiculous number of ballot measures, Progress Now has a great guide.

UPDATE: Voter registration also closes today in AZ, AR, DC, FL, GA, HI, IN, KY, LA, MI, MS, OH, PA, TN, TX and VA -- you can use the same links to check on how to get registered TODAY!
