The first things jump out at me relate to the weekly impact. Under McShame's plan, if you're part of the bottom quintile of wage earners, your taxes decrease less than fifty cents a week. If you earn between $111,600 and $161,000, you'd save an additional $8.63 a week under McShame's plan. And remember, that's NET income. No one pays on the gross.
So my question for you is this: if you were out canvassing and came across someone who made $5 million a year, how would you convince that person that the Obama tax plan was a good deal for him/her?
